Project role: Director / Editor
Description: A 15-minute documentary focusing on the story behind Love This Life Basketball Club and its head coach, Sam Walker, completed as part of my university course. Due to my personal connection to the subject matter, I oversaw the creative direction of the film. Filming took place over the course of two days in Epsom with myself and another camera operator. I acted as a camera operator as well as sound recordist and later managed the post production processes including sub-clipping, blocking, colour correction and sound editing.
A final edit of the film was successfully completed for the submission deadline. However, I continued to work on the film by incorporating archived footage that I had filmed several years prior. This extended cut was submitted for the Student Television Awards 2020.
